    3. Click on the “Forgot your password?” link to trigger a password reset email

To change your password follow these steps:

3. Click Profile
4. Select Edit
5. Click on the “I want to change my password” link

How do I upload my picture?

Upload a picture to your profile by following these steps:

      1. Go to: https://online.dialogedu.com/xyz-institution (Sample URL only)
      2. Click on My Locker
      3. Click on Profile
      4. Click on the Edit tab
      5. In the Picture section, click on +File to choose a photo from your computer
      6. Click Save

How do I edit my profile?

You can edit your profile by following these steps:
1. Go to: https://online.dialogedu.com/xyz-institution (Sample URL only)
2. Click on My Locker
3. Click on Profile
4. Click on the Edit tab
5. From this page, you will have the ability to edit the following:

  • NameEdit Profile
  • Email address
  • Screen name
  • Profile Picture
  • Birthday
  • Gender
  • Password

6. Click Save to update your profile

How do I log out?

If you are on the front-end of the platform, you will need to click on the tab with your name on it, located on the bottom right of your school site by clicking Close Session.

If you are on the back-end of the platform, you will need to click on the tab with your name on it, located on the top right of your school site by clicking Close.

What do I do when I’m done with my mandatory training? Do I need to submit my certificate?

The answer to this question will vary from institution to institution.  Your DSA Training administrator at your institution may have specific instructions about the protocol upon completion of training.  Be assured that the admins are able to track the employee’s training completion through the dialogEDU system reports;  therefore, it may not be necessary to “close the loop” with your admin unless otherwise instructed to do so.  The printed certificate is yours to keep.  Some institutions place certificates of completion into the employees personnel file as routine protocol or upon request.  Again, this varies among institutions.

Where do I find my Print Certificate button?

Your earned certificates can be found inside of My Locker under Certificates or inside of your course.

I finished my training, and scored the required 80% within 3 attempts, but my certificate of completion won’t print.

You must score at least an 80% and will have 3 attempts to meet this requirement.

  • Upon successful completion of the evaluation and after you have clicked into and viewed the “How to Print Your Certificate,” presentation, a green button, “Print Certificate” will appear on the right side of your course outline page.
  • If you have not met the eligibility, you must notify your site administrator to reset your training and review the course again.
  • To notify the site administrator, go to your Home Page and select Campus Administrative Contact Person.
I finished watching a video, but I can’t move forward; there is no right arrow to advance to the slide.

Videos must be watched in their entirety, without advancing the video player slide.  You can move forward and backward in the video, but the system must register that the full allotment of time was spent on the page. This was designed to have learners view the entire video in one sitting.   In the upper right hand corner of your slide, there is a video countdown timer.  It will inform you as to how much time is left on the page before you can advance to the next slide.  Always watch the video from start to finish or let the video run its full course, permitting the right arrow to appear.

I finished watching a video in its entirety (the video timer clock has reached 0:00), but I can’t move forward; there is no right arrow to advance to the slide.

If you have let the video run its full length without interfering with the video player, and you still have issues advancing to the next slide, you may have a browser concern.  For each step below, you will have to let the video timer run down before expecting a fix.  Try the following steps:

  1. Clear your cache and/or cookies from your Internet browser and then let the video run. When the video has run, see if the right arrow appears.
  2. Try a different browser and let the video run its full course again. Try to advance
  3. Try using an “incognito” setting on your Chrome browser or a “private session” on the Firefox browser.
  4. Check with your IT department to see if there is something interfering on your work network.
  5. Submit a helpdesk ticket if none of these options work.
How do I view my grades?

To view your grades, simply go to the My Grades tab from the inside of your course. This tab contains the results of the graded items for your course.

  • View the assignment title, Date Submitted, Grade and possible points as well as Status.
  • If there is a conversation bubble icon in the Comments column for a specific item, click on the bubble to view the instructor comments.
